THE PECULIARITIES OF SURGICAL ELIMINATION OF TUMOUR FROM MAMMARY GLAND IN DOGS FEMININE

Radical surgical interference during the treatment of dogs with swelling of mammary glands (MG) is usually aggressive procedure that is accompanied with caused surgical trauma and, suitable for the nature of the last, the appropriate response of the whole organism. It is known that the nature of tissue injury to a great extent depends on the method of operation. Therefore, to optimize the technique of mastectomy in dogs female, clinical and experimental investigation have focused on the improved elements of surgery and reconstruction of the operated wound, which involved the use of minimal tissue trauma by the radical intervention on MG in the case of wide local excision of tumors. 76 dogs female with locally advanced breast cancer evaluated the therapeutic efficacy of the use of traditional methods and modified ways of mastectomy. In detail, it was presented the surgical technique of described operations and peculiarities of the postoperative period in different ways of mastectomy. It was established that surgical removal of the tumor with the help of sewing and at the same time with the reconstruction of wound and drainage less method of treatment of operated wound reduces the incidence of wound complications in the postoperative period and create optimal conditions for rapid rehabilitation of sick animals. As a result of application of the developed methods of mastectomy performing it was found that postoperative healing in dogs female lasts during 10–12 days, that gives the possibility to begin and carry out a comprehensive anti-tumor therapy in time and in full. Based on the research results it was also revealed that sonographic search of the operated wound state allows for objective control of the course of reparative processes in real time, timely detection of postoperative complications and to conduct the corrective treatment. In particular, in cases of serom, their founding, localization identification, and performing the principal evacuation of content is possible with the use of sonography.
